It's been a month since I posted. Not much new construction on the layout. Life has intruded, Christmas. But, it has been a good month of operation. As winter has descended upon the high country, traffic on the La Veta Pass route is down somewhat. But, planning for a tourist railroad is ongoing. The Roco DCC system runs well. I have two handheld throttles and it is easy to run two locomotives at once on the system. Not enough space for two to really work all that independently, but it's a nice capability to have. More on that in a future post. Happy railroading to one and all.
